Arlington Sports Conditioning - Pete Leibman

Faster. Stronger. Fitter.

ASC Athlete Profile: Erin Williams

Name:  Erin Williams

Birthday:  September 23

Hometown:  Poolesville, MD

What is your athletic background? Did you play any sports growing up?

“Growing up, I played soccer and basketball and swam. I also loved playing floor and roller hockey, backyard games like kickball, and riding my bike. In high school, I played soccer and ran track. In college, I played varsity soccer and club rugby.”

When did you attend your first workout with Arlington Sports Conditioning, and how did you first learn about the group?

“I think it was 2013. I was going to Power Yoga at Gold’s Gym on Monday evenings with some friends -one of them being Josiah Gruber [another ASC member]. One night I passed by Pete’s class and I told them we were switching classes asap.”

What is your proudest athletic accomplishment, and why?

“In a past life, I set 3 state track records in a day. More recently, I set a personal record of 4 pushups at the Arlington Games (respect).”

What is your favorite exercise(s)?

“Anything cardio, but especially agility work and bleachers.”

What is your favorite workout song or musical artist?

“RETURN OF THE MACK “

What is your favorite sports team?

“I don’t really keep up with sports but probably USWNT Soccer, Hokie Football, VT Women’s Soccer, or the Caps.”

Who is your favorite athlete?

“Recently- Travis Kelce.”

Other than working out, how else do you like to spend your free time?

“I’m married with two toddlers and three pets and love spending time with them. Also, since I’m married with two toddlers and three pets, I love spending time alone in silence doing nothing lol. I also really enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, experiencing new things, and traveling.”

What do you like best about Arlington Sports Conditioning?

“I enjoy seeing familiar faces at every workout but also meeting new people all the time- that, plus the camaraderie, gives me the feeling of being part of a team. I also enjoy the tips of the week and Pete’s jams.”

What are the biggest benefits that you have experienced as a member?

“I’ve been able to settle into a better routine and simply get in more quality workouts each week. Having to register, plus the group accountability, helps me to show up and push myself. It has definitely improved my physical and mental health in just a couple short months.”

What advice would you offer to new or prospective members of Arlington Sports Conditioning?

“Come join us! We’re fast. And strong. And fit. And cool (you should add this one to the slogan, Pete).”
