Arlington Sports Conditioning - Pete Leibman

Faster. Stronger. Fitter.

ASC Athlete Profile: Dodd Fuller

Name: Dodd Fuller

Birthday: July 30

Hometown: Purcellville, VA

What is your athletic background? Did you play any sports growing up?

“I grew up playing a variety of sports from baseball, basketball, lacrosse and football but once I reached high school I only played lacrosse. Recently I’ve enjoyed trying new activities to stay active such as hiking and pickleball!”

When did you attend your first workout with Arlington Sports Conditioning, and how did you first learn about the group?

“I attended my first ASC class in 2016 when the class was held inside the studio at the Ballston Gold’s Gym. I learned of the class through a buddy who would also go to class.”

What is your proudest athletic accomplishment, and why?

“My proudest achievement is teaching myself how to ski with no lessons!”

What is your favorite exercise(s)?

“My favorite exercise is the battle ropes and resistance bands. They have been a great addition to the ASC Strong classes.”

What is your favorite workout song or musical artist?

“I tend to go through phases of music I listen to at the gym however I always find myself back listening to 2000s hip-hop. I am also a shameless huge fan of Nickelback.”

What is your favorite sports team?

“Washington Commanders”

Who is your favorite athlete?

“Lebron James”

Other than working out, how else do you like to spend your free time?

“While I’ve lived in Arlington for years now, I still enjoy exploring the area and trying out new things whether they be museums, restaurants, parks, or bars. I also spend a lot of my free time traveling to see friends and family who live in different cities outside of DC. “

What do you like best about Arlington Sports Conditioning? What are the biggest benefits that you have experienced as a member?

“I like the consistency of ASC the best. The class truly is on rain or shine every week on the scheduled days and times. My cardio has benefitted the most by being a member. It’s easier to push yourself while running the bleachers with someone running behind you than to run them by yourself.”

What advice would you offer to new or prospective members of Arlington Sports Conditioning?

“I would suggest simply giving it a try for a week. I believe if you attended a week of classes, you would get a great feel for the benefits of the workout and the camaraderie of the group.”
