The Best Mobility Tool

Massage guns have become very popular the last few years. They help reduce muscle soreness and stiffness.

However, the best models cost over $500. They are not cheap.

They are also not easy to bring with you during travel or when you are on the go.

While I have a Theragun massage gun and enjoy using it, I believe the best mobility tool is a good old lacrosse ball.

I spend at least 15 minutes throughout each day using a lacrosse ball to improve my mobility.

Here are three excellent ways to use a lacrosse ball each day to reduce pain and stiffness, decrease injuries, and move and feel better:

  • Stand on one leg while rolling the arch of your other foot over the top of a lacrosse ball for 30-60 seconds. Then, repeat on the other side.
  • Lay on the floor on your back while positioning a lacrosse ball under a meaty part of one of your glutes. Let your body sink into the ball and/or roll around on it for a few minutes. Then, repeat on the other side.
  • Lay on the floor on your stomach while letting one of your shoulders sink into a lacrosse ball for a few minutes. Then, repeat on the other side.

Be sure to use the ball on muscle, not on bone, on your spine, etc.

A lacrosse ball only costs $5, you can bring or store it anywhere, and it helps you loosen up in ways that even a massage gun can’t.

If you don’t have some lacrosse balls in your home and anywhere else you spend a lot of time, buy some today, and start using them for at least a few minutes each day.
