Wildwood Park has teamed up with Arlington Sports Conditioning (ASC), Arlington’s #1 outdoor workout.
Over the last ten years, ASC has helped thousands of people burn fat, build lean muscle, and get faster, stronger, and fitter.
ASC offers two workout formats:
ASC Fast workouts improve speed, endurance, and overall athleticism. These workouts are outdoors at the stadium (turf, track, bleachers) at Washington-Liberty High School.
ASC Strong workouts improve strength and overall athleticism. These workouts are outdoors at Lubber Run Community Center from April-October and indoors from November-March.
Residents at Wildwood Park can attend one of ASC’s outdoor workouts for free and also bring one guest for free ($70 value).
Terms and conditions: Each attendee (resident or guest) must agree to an online waiver and register individually with their own contact information. Residents should only register for themselves. Guests must register on their own and live in Arlington or within 10 miles.

How Is ASC Different?
Here are five ways that ASC is different:
1. ASC is Arlington’s first and only outdoor/indoor workout program: We primarily train outdoors, although we also offer indoor workouts in the winter.
2. ASC eliminates tedious machines like treadmills, stationary bikes, and rowers: Machines may burn calories, but they don’t improve your athleticism or core strength. We focus on dynamic, athletic movements and functional equipment, such as dumbbells, kettlebells, and battleropes.
3. ASC workouts are led by an athletic, credible expert: You won’t find any junior coaches or rah-rah cheerleaders leading ASC workouts. Our workouts are designed and led by our Founder Pete Leibman. Pete has 15+ years of experience coaching thousands of people. He’s also the author of two books and more than 300 articles on peak performance.
4. ASC makes you feel like you are part of a team: All ASC workouts include partner and group drills. You leave each ASC workout feeling like you are part of a team. ASC also organizes social events throughout the year to help members connect with each other.
5. ASC is a small, local business that keeps Arlington clean, green, and healthy: ASC shares its revenue with Arlington County Parks and Rec. By joining ASC, you also support Arlington’s parks, trails, and nature areas, and you keep Arlington clean, green, and healthy.
How ASC Got Started
ASC started in 2012. At the time, ASC Founder Pete Leibman was teaching a weekly Sports Conditioning class for Gold’s Gym in Ballston. The class had become extremely popular, often getting over 100 people per class (photo below).
One summer day, Pete asked the group if they would be interested in doing a workout outdoors. Everyone was interested. Three days later, Pete hosted ASC’s first outdoor workout.
Since then, Pete has led hundreds of outdoor workouts for thousands of people in Arlington.
While most of our members have been with us for years, we are just getting started…
